What is the SSAT?
The exam is scored on a 300-600 scale and is administered on paper.
Breakdown:
The Upper Level Exam (Currently in grades 8-11 applying for grades 9-PG [Post Graduate])
The Quantitative section is two 30-minute, 25 question sections.
The Reading section is a 40-minute, 40 question section.
The Verbal section is a 30-minute, 60 question section.
The Experimental section is a 15-minute, 16 question section.
The Writing Sample is a 25-minute, 1 essay section.
Totaling 167 questions (only 150 score) and around 185 minutes (3 hours and 5 minutes) of examination time.
